regulerly met by other Government Departments such

as the Admiralty, War and India Offices and we regret

e similer course cannot be followed in the case of

the Crown Colonies; we request therefore that the

Secretary of State will be good enough to inform us

to whom application is to be made for payment to the

Surgeon of this recognised service.
